It seemed like a great idea; a few minutes from Old Town downtown, right near the bike trails along the Poudre Trail, sustainable materials and concept, front porches to re-connect to your community. But it the recession starting in 2007 was just about to start and the development’s original developer entered into bankruptcy and Old Town North Fort Collins turned into a place of few homeowners and lots of overgrown weeds.
But now a team of developers and builders are focusing their efforts on Old Town North Fort Collins and everyone is pretty excited. Some of the housing online casino plans include rooftop decks with spas offering views all the way to the foothills, a smart efficient urbanism that appeals to a range of buyers and a community of like-minded folks who want to live in a vibrant and energized neighborhood.
Ferrey-Rauch Companies has a few lots in Old Town North and they are presently building a model home. The style is definitely new urbanism and the finishes come high-end. That avoids the re-sale issues with appraisers down the road. In other developments, one home will have vinyl and laminate; the other has granite or Soapstone and hardwood floors. No more. These all come with very cool finishes. Only one floor plan has a main floor master but that’s my only complaint. Of course, their yards are miniscule and anyone (like me) who needs a bigger play area for way too many dogs will have to wait until those pups are on their way to the Rainbow Bridge.
I have my fingers crossed for Old Town North Fort Collins. It’s going to be a great place to live and play. But one dog ought to do it.
